Nashville Fashion Events
Before Nashville Fashion was even "hip" this young woman made a mark and started a movement that has helped so many Nashville creatives. Not only was she the 1st one to provide a place for the Nashville Fashion Community she provided informations that artists and young women were looking for with an open and inviting spirit.
I don't believe many people have worked more jobs in the Nashville fashion culture than Alicia or been to as many events you'll hear more in a Vlog later!
She loves people, sees herself as a connector, loves helping and encouraging others.
As the number of fashion events and organizations grow I see her pulling back to focus more on her hearts desires and focus on her work.
Make sure you try to keep up and contact her at @NASHFASHEVENTS
This Little Delight has faced more body shaming and adversity than most. Molly Martin may be small but her spirit is mighty! She is an up and coming Jewelry Designer and Silversmith that is a reflection of her Timeless Bohemian Style. She is an excellent model and loves collaborating with the "RIGHT" people. She's been featured in Maxim's Hometown Hotties and is on the cover of the 2016 Calendar. Being an excellent singer, dancer, and care giver there is nothing she loves more than family, friends, and fun!
Pura Vida Vintage
There aren't many people who know vintage fashion or do it quite like Krystle Ramos. Her shop is exactly what a vintage store is supposed to be. The material is quality--truly one of a kind--and the prices are fair. She has an eye for timeless fashion, great fabric, and an EXTENSIVE collection that you wouldn't believe. She also has a wide array of affordable jewelry, shoes and accessories. This is a store for anybody who understands the value of fabulous vintage and wants to wear their personality on their sleeve.
Working a full time job, being an absolutely amazing and very hands on mom, as well as an impressive shopper & singer, Fashion Show and Runway Planner, Participate, Organizer, and Stylist + helping other stylists and designers in the community she is persisted, passionate, and purposeful with every action and piece.
Losing many irreplaceable items and her famous store in a fire, September 2014 she could have moved on but remained steadfast and of course true to her hearts desires!

Some people fight and work so hard that they know without a doubt they are worth it. Hannah has inspired me more as a model and person than she even realizes, she embraces herself fully and forgives quickly. Competing in one of the toughest industries in the world while maintaining curves, always taking affirmative action and standing up for herself. She's willing to do whatever it takes to stay true to what it is in her heart of hearts that she wants to do and won't take any less.
Hopefully you'll be seeing more of her soon! Follow her INSTA @hannahsbananas20
1 John 4:20 (CEB)
"If anyone says, I love God, and hates a brother or sister, he is a liar, because the person who doesn't love a brother or sister who can be seen can't love God, who can't be seen."
How can we ever truly be seen or heard if we spend so much time hiding and filling the days with noise ? Being guilty, scared, ashamed and wondering why on Earth people would care has prevented me from sharing my story for years. After much persuasion from friends and my small online community I'm finally embracing all the flaws and falls to encourage and empower others to fully love their self unconditionally.
I went to jail May 8th, 2013 on May 7th I sent an email to 10 of my favorite local stores letting them know I was a new designer in town and would love to show them new collection! My mugshot, which was taken as I was being beckoned from throwing up in a men's urinal after being told the amount of our bail, was plastered all over the news portraying a fabricated story of drugs and weapons, being in the paper the next few days, incarcerated for 7, I couldn't respond, and as you can imagine, I didn't get very far.
Then became too embarrassed to even try....
Backing up to the REAL story (feel free to Google me as Daisy Burgeis to read the many others and see mugshots buh-byeshame)....
Marijuana was always my DOC (Drug Of Choice + Doctor) as a high-strung individual it has helped me since my youth to relax, eat and sleep. I've done extensive research on its side effects and usages, and truly believe it is a natural healing plant & gift from God. Upon meeting Robert his appreciation for marijuana matched mine, we enjoyed smoking together and talking about every thing we could possibly think of or had experienced. Robert had and has been through a lot, as most of us have, but seeing him lose his Father in the most tragic conditions, circumstances, and efforts is truly one of the saddest I've ever experienced, then jail happened.
I knew how hard farming was growing up in Louisiana in cotton fields of white, picking squash, plums, pears, berries, veggies, shelling peas, and helping water but nothing about ph, ozone, carbon dioxide, lighting, temperature....Robert has been described as the most over the top person, he has a tenacious way of putting his whole heart and self into ideas and others. So the fact he was so devoted to these little plants shouldn't be surprising, he was called the James Bond of grow rooms on the news, and worked day and night to insure they had the best care, no chemicals or tap water, so that he could provide protection to us + healthcare for sick friends/patients, he was also extremely hopeful to help save his brother-in-laws Dad who he was also losing but time ran out, we guess God had better plans.
On this morning I was coming home from CrossFit (which was taught by my Christians friends daughter who I later had plans with, they haven't seen me since) and stopped at our neighbors because there were 4 cop cars there, we were friends with the neighbor, knew they were out of town, had a son on drugs that was stealing from them, so I allowed the officers to call her from my phone, just trying to be a good neighbor, which made me feel like it was my fault and to not want to help a neighbor anymore!
To make a long story short, they completely violated our rights, handcuffing my husband immediately when he respectfully informed them he had his gun, gun permit, and his hands up.
They came into our house without a warrant or consent, we said they could search anywhere a person could be hiding(because they made it VERY clear they were coming in no matter what) but didn't want them tearing up our home since the were just looking for the neighbor's crazy son. We have lost everything, almost everyone, can't get good jobs, had to give up on most of our big dreams, they took his guns which were part of his inheritance, I can't even volunteer at the Y, and had to write a letter of apology to be a church camp counselor.
Saying and sharing all this to insure you whatever obstacle or fear you may face, only you have the power to share your gifts, talents, and thoughts.
Choosing Unconditional Love is truly the only way I have gotten through this, growing up I didn't know or understand LOVE which caused me to make many many poor choices, and not fully be able to grasp or understand's God's Unconditional Love. So much love and happiness we see is reflective of conditions, appearance, or money. I don't believe or see this as ideal or a goal anymore and haven't for a long time. I believe success to be measured in kindness, grace, joy, the little things, and each precious moment that is passing us by. There will always be haters, you can't make them love you, by choosing to love YOU maybe one day they will release their damaging walls, some people are never ready for change or growth sadly.
I love this Buddhist Prayer
(Jesus died for Buddha, don't hate already!)
"May I be happy.
May I be peaceful.
May I be Free.
May my friends be happy.
May my friends be peaceful.
May my friends be free.
My my enemies be happy.
May my enemies be peaceful.
May my enemies be free.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be free.."
One of my favorite things to do....
When you start to feel down or blue, sing a little love song to you from you!
So here I am asking you to choose unconditional love and no judgement for you and those around you, and embracing my truth, I hope you will too !
